The Rainbow Gestapo
In which the rainbow becomes a symbol of deception and tyranny

Have you heard about the new state religion? Yeah, it’s called gender. Remember back in 2017 when Jordan Peterson warned of the dangers of Bill C-16, the gender identity bill, and remember how the kool-aid brigade mocked and derided him? Remember how they told Peterson and other critics of Bill C-16, relax, it’s just a formality, you’re overreacting? Remember how the Canadian mainstream media rolled over and played dead? Bill C-16 did formalise federally what had happened on a provincial level—the insertion of “gender identity” into human rights legislation such that any male who declares himself a woman becomes one and gains access to all female exclusive spaces and such that to exclude these males who “identity as women” means perpetration of a human rights violation. Yes, female people and parents exercising their Charter rights to sex-based safeguards now commit human rights violations against males who decide they feel like girls or women, seriously fiction could not seem weirder and more dystopian at this point.
“Gender identity” quietly became a part of British Columbia human rights legislation in 2016, and shortly thereafter the BC government under Christy Clark announced its partnership with the ARC Foundation to develop the Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity (SOGI) Education Initiative, described as “a collaboration with other community leaders to create a school environment where all students can learn and develop authentically, free of societal bias.” Bill 27, Human Rights Code Act, 2016, received 3 readings as well as a committee hearing, passing all in one legislative sitting—on July 25, 2016. The public did not receive an opportunity to debate the legislation. Only one MLA, Laurie Throness, openly objected to the bill and pointed to the power of the transgender lobby, to which local activists replied with accusations of transphobia, the stock heretical label assigned to anything or anyone critical of the local transgender cult. Four previous attempts to amend the BC Human Rights Code to include Gender Identity had failed prior to July 25, 2016. In sum, a female premier sold out British Columbia’s female sex-based rights to the genderists in one legislative sitting.
Who or what is ARC Foundation Vancouver? Robert Quartermain, Mark Prior, and Wayne Hartrick established a private foundation in 2008, themselves as trustees, and obtained registered charity status—they called this private foundation ARC Foundation. According to 2016 information from the Canada Revenue Agency website, the foundation’s “granting programs support initiatives that exhibit awareness, respect and capacity in improving the status of those who are marginalized in society by sexual orientation, gender identity, ethnicity or financial status.” In 2015 the Canadian Men’s Health Foundation, led by Hartrick, funded a study investigating testosterone replacement therapy in men. One doctor responded to the study, referring to the guidelines it proposes as troubling, and calling out Hartrick as a shill for Big Pharma. Genderists seem to promote hormone therapy for affirmation like the pre-Reformation Catholic Church promoted indulgences for salvation.
Financial records available on the CRA website for 2015 to 2019 reveal that the private foundation supported the Out On Screen Society, producers of The Queer Film Festival and driving force behind the Out In Schools programme, described by its executive director, Ross Johnstone, as “a guerilla marketing tactic” for the film festival. CRA records show the foundation conducts little charitable activity and spends large amounts on professional and consulting fees. Interestingly, Brad Beattie, Executive Director of ARC Foundation until July 2020 and one of the individuals involved in the early establishment of the partnership between the foundation and the ministry, happens to own the agency which ARC Foundation hired to work on the SOGI123 project.
Did ARC Foundation answer a call for proposals by the Ministry of Education? A memorandum of understanding seems to govern the partnership between the two. How did the province decide to award a public school curriculum development project to this private foundation, to whom the province has also agreed to pay licensing fees for the use of said curriculum (called SOGI123), of which ARC Foundation remains owner? Robert Quartermain, CEO of Pretivm Mining, a trustee of ARC Foundation, and a generous donor to the BC Liberal party, has been photographed at events with former Liberal Premier Christy Clark. How much political lobbying did ARC Foundation conduct? CRA records for the private foundation show no political activity listed. How much reach have the government lobbying endeavours of wealthy individuals who operate through their charity foundations?
Another question which arises surrounds the connection between this private foundation and ARC International, a Canadian incorporated charity and the organisation behind Yogyakarta, the global source of SOGI dogma. The BC Regional HQ of the Dignity Initiative, an umbrella organisation to which ARC International belongs, has its address in the same co-sharing space as ARC Foundation under the name Equitas Foundation. What is the connection, if any, between ARC Foundation and the group responsible for the Yogyakarta Principles of 2006 and its sequel Plus 10? Yogyakarta—fancy human rights shopping lists for the transgender lobby which barely anyone in the west has heard of—has no international legal standing, yet it inspires the SOGI123 catechism-like curriculum for schools and drives gender identity legislation around the world.
Irregardless of any connection between the two organizations, it’s interesting to note that ARC International received funding from the Canadian Ministry of Women and Gender Equality, formerly the Status of Women Ministry. How cool that the feminist Prime Minister of Canada has decided to throw women under the bus by funding from Canadian women’s programming money the agency seeking to dismantle global sex-based rights! That’s our Junior, doing his part to advance women’s rights by helping wipe them right off the map! We’ve all heard of children wanting to spite their parents by undoing their accomplishments, however junior skippy prime minister setting out to trash the Constitution his own father brought home in order to gain wokebro points seems like the epitome of double-edged spite. The YP and YP10+ have set in motion the SOGI initiative, which seeks to remove “sex” and replace it with “gender” in a kool-aid crusade to forge a world where the religious empire of gender dominates and sex does not exist. If sex does not exist, then neither do sex-based rights. The dismantling of sex-based rights directly impacts female and same sex attracted people, as well as Muslims, and it removes child safeguards.
SOGI123 lessons read like something from a woke religious catechism text, with messages such as you can be in the wrong body and your parents and doctor choose your gender at birth so maybe it’s the wrong one. My favourite lesson involves the two male penguins who got an egg from the zoo keeper—I guess it would seem silly to have the stork bring an egg to the penguins, yet that’s what this story reminds me of—the stork who brings parents their new bundle of joy. Magical thinking—the information dispensed in these lessons—has no basis in science and no pedagogical value. Also, can we talk about teaching children they’re in the wrong body? How does a disabled child receive this lesson? Or any visible minority child? Are they in the wrong body too?
I may have bought that narrative as an adolescent Desi girl, at the very least it would have seemed hurtful to be told my body is wrong though I felt like it. Looking back at my adolescence the actions and words of the adults which drove me to cast my body as hostile territory have left the deepest psychological scars. It seems like a slippery intellectual slope, defining people by gender stereotypes and beauty standards. What does it mean, even, to feel like you’re different on the inside than you are on the outside? This sounds like some kind of neo-creationist propaganda and not a lesson to promote an understanding of LGB history and culture.
History tells a long and sordid tale of barbarism and cruelty done to people simply because they were same sex attracted. My late eldest brother was gay and died of end-stage HIV/AIDS; he lived through the darkest period of AIDS persecution, and watched all of his friends die and his community crumble under the weight of AIDS. My brother lived through a time when queer was an anti-gay slur that got gay men beaten, sometimes to death, and I remember being a little girl in Winnipeg, the murder capital of Canada, hearing about gay men being beaten and killed routinely. None of the genderist movement even addresses this hatred and persecution, instead it centres misleading anti gay, anti female, anti human narratives that simply are woke lies and manipulate and erode consent and freedom of thought.
It would be easy to design a quality, reality-based curriculum to teach children (and everyone really) about the persecution of gays and lesbians, to explore the reasons underlying their persecution and promote compassion and understanding. SOGI123 fails on all these measures. Instead it promotes activist rhetoric and plants the seeds of gender indoctrination which eventually rears its head as a thing we’ve decided to call “gender dysphoria” or “gender identity disorder”. Puberty is not a disease and children who fail to conform to gender norms don’t need labels or pathologising. Duh, puberty is an awful time in which we feel ill at ease in our bodies, that’s called growing and we need to get over it and help children through it rather than treat them like Netflix Shows or Twitter accounts we can pause or block.
No, we are not going to die if we have to tolerate some discomfort, FFS. *Facepalm*.
Historically we have known “tomboys”—in the 1930s and 40s my mum climbed trees in the dresses her parents forced her to wear and also ditched her sister and her dolls to play with her brother’s toy cars and trains—today the kool-aid brigade has decided girls like my mum have a “gender identity disorder” and are boys trapped in a female body and that this trapped boy must be affirmed at the expense of the female body. My mother is 90, hates wearing dresses, and loathes yarn crafting and canning and things other women of her generation embraced—she would definitely meet the criteria for Simon Baron Cohen’s extreme male brain female Asperger’s autistic profile. She is not a man trapped in a female body. In fact, I confidently speak for all her progeny when I say we all feel quite grateful no one tried to convince our mother she was a man because she climbed trees and hated her sister and all feminine things as a child.
Gender Identity seems to have appeared overnight—notice how the transgender lobby has tied together sexual orientation and gender identity? Why? YP and YP10+ provide no explanation. How did this happen? One day we all started talking about SOGI, like these two concepts have had an unquestionable connection all along. When did this happen? When I try to remember the beginning, I feel as though trying to remember the beginning of a dream. What does “gender identity” have to do with being gay or lesbian? Being gay or lesbian means being attracted to individuals of the same sex, it is an immutable variation of nature, not an immoral behaviour, and a same sex attracted person cannot be “converted” or “corrected”.
We don’t have a clear and objective definition of gender identity though, aside from a self belief that a person is the opposite sex imposed upon others by law. Gender identity legislation wants me to believe something that isn’t true, something I do not believe, something that conflicts with my own physiologically hardwired perceptions and religious beliefs—because someone else holds this untrue belief about themselves. I reject gender identity. Why should I be required by the state to affirm the beliefs of another individual on pain of punishment for bigoted discrimination? Many will construe as hateful and bigoted my expression of this viewpoint. Yet the hate crime section of Canada’s criminal code states no one can be charged for hatred because they uttered a true statement.
How has Gender Identity legislation passed with such glaring and inevitable human rights conflicts? How have we arrived at this point with the Canadian public asleep and the country’s mainstream media, including the publicly funded broadcaster, blacking out all traces of gender identity controversy? When can we talk about this stuff?
I see a similar phenomenon happening with genderists and their gender religion as happened with the catholic church and the way it influenced society through its infiltration of education and health care, blurring the line between church and governance and even reaching into families and causing devastating child-parent separation and alienation. In British Columbia, wealthy gender identity activists have: formed their own charity foundation, lobbied the government for legislation to mandate their belief system, and then partnered with the government to deliver a catechism to promote that belief system in schools. They fund a popular cultural event which promotes the values espoused by SOGI dogma, and they promote this cultural event in school to children. The constant stream of woke SOGI propaganda streaming into children’s brains contributes to their developing self image, causing them to reach further into the gender religion for some kind of salvation. God isn’t involved, so few see the danger of this progressive belief system being snuck into human rights law, and perhaps non religious individuals may not see the religious undercurrent in the SOGI lobby at all.
A final question for reflection. How can we limit the reach of wealthy lobbyists hiding behind charity registrations to promote their political agendas and advance their self interest? Have we fooled ourselves into thinking globalisation would promote the market and therefore consumer choice, when in actuality it has fed the oligarchs and oligopolies which have become modern day empires? What steps can we take to stop the infiltration of woke religious extremism? How much woke extremism does the oligarchy fund? How can we get the attention of the mainstream media, the socio political leadership, and politicians to address the human rights conflicts which state enforced Gender Identity has wrought? Right now it feels like several of us have tried to talk about this—are trying to talk and write about this—and the mic doesn’t work or the producers of this gong show have cut to a commercial break. Cue the Joan Rivers voice—can we talk?
Addendum—since I uncovered this information and wrote these words (before Christmas), Robert Hoogland has been sent to jail for violating a court order that gagged him from discussing the indoctrination and medical abuse of his daughter by gender extremists in the school and medical system. Mr. Hoogland’s case has nothing to do with C-16, a federal legislation, as has been surmised in some media rags. Mr. Hoogland’s case is a BC case, therefore governed by BC law, gender identity human rights legislation among the relevant laws, including privacy laws. Right wing polemicists and reactionaries circle like vultures with the intent to stir anger and circle-jerk outrage and not to inform in a responsible and balanced manner, and they are not the only vultures circling Mr. Hoogland’s case, which could well prove crucial in the battle against the capture of gender extremism over the entire BC institutional establishment.
Mr. Hoogland remains in jail for civil disobedience—choosing to speak out against the state mandated chemical castration and sterilisation of his daughter in violation of a court order—until his trial, which begins April 12, 2021.
To those who suggest this dad should have followed the law, I’m going to remind you that the Holocaust was entirely legal, no German laws were broken to exterminate the millions of Jewish, disabled, elderly, Polish/Slav, and other designated subhumans, all that genocide happened under the law, the law was a weapon of governing genocidal maniacs. Fear, let this happen virtually unchecked and unchallenged—a campaign of terror and fear allowed knowing people to watch and do nothing.
So, when the law is an ass moral courage demands that we violate it and that’s what any devoted and rationale parent would do—go to extreme lengths to protect their child and/or speak out against those abusing said child who receive the protection of the court.
The colours of the Canada seem to have changed from red and white to the colours of gender extremism … and the penis has replaced the maple leaf—all the result of embedding gender extremism into Canadian law and societal institutions.
